ShareThisContributorNetwork - At least four light and moderate earthquakes were registered in the Gulf of California off the northwestern coast of Mexico near the Baja Peninsula on Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey. The first earthquake came at 11:44 a.m. local time and was registered as a magnitude 5.9. It was followed a little over an hour later at 12:57 p.m.

Group 1's Q2 EPS rose 41% to $1.06, 25 cents above views. Asbury Automotive's EPS grew 21% to 51 cents, beating by 8 cents. Sonic Automotive's EPS rose 37% to 37 cents, a penny above views.
